    3 yrs ago I got one as a gift , usually i get 6 to 8 hrs of audio from it daily if I was listening to a podcast or attending an online meeting, Recharged quickly, last 3 months I been getting 5 to 6 hours out of it, ear bud on the right stopped working about 6 months ago and the earbud on the left is Losing connection, got washed in the washer once, once ended in the pool, both times I dried it with pushing air in all the possible cracks or holes, best gift ever.Got my new one 2 weeks ago I love it, battery life is Improving as I completely drain and charge it again. Range is better than my old one.

    This LG HBS-SL5 was a replacement for an older HBS750. Things I like. The new SL5 has a newer USB-C charging port. It has retractable wire leads which stay out of the way when not in use. Things I don't like. The hard plastic case on the HBS-SL5 makes more noise than the rod on the HBS750. The older HBS750 has an ON/OFF slide switch that was easy to know when it was ON or OFF. The new HBS-SL5 has a push button that makes it difficult to know if it was turned OFF or left ON. Otherwise the two units both offer great sound quality and convenience for phone calls, listening to music, or watching TV/Movies ... which is why I bought a second one in the first place.

    I got these earbuds to use with all the Zooms in my life--work meetings, teaching, book clubs, HOA meetings, everything!

    I like classical music, and was using my B&W headphones and a wireless mic. The B&Ws have great sound, which is why they cost $400, but the whole setup is bulky. My wife said I looked like a nerd with the mic and 'phones.

    I bought the most expensive Samsung earbuds, and they wouldn't stay in, so I went back to looking like a nerd. I think the biggest problem was that the only other person in the book club who wears 'phones is a real nerd, so this put me right in there with him, in my wife's eyes.

    Then I saw these. I have a lot of respect for LG. We have an 83" TV from them that's spectacular, as well as a couple of smaller sets. And my computer is an LG Gram, that's fast as blazes, has a huge screen, and weighs just 3 pounds, so carrying it around won't wear me out when I travel. When I'm working at home it drives 4 displays without a problem.

    The earbuds arrived yesterday. I charged them, and I'm using them now. They connected to Bluetooth right away I put them into my ears--they are smaller than the Samsung earbuds. Apparently the neck piece allows LG to move some electronics out of the earbuds. They fit really well and are comfortable. I also know that even if they do fall out, the cords on them will prevent them from going far. No problem with losing a small, expensive device.

    But the best part is the sound. I'm listening to violin sonatas right now, and the sound is wonderful. Is it 100% as good as the B&W 'phones? No. But is it good enough for listening to classical music for a few hours while I work? Yes, it is. In fact, I have to call the sound very good. I'm enjoying it.

    I think the folks at LG have made yet another great product!

    This is an update after 6 months of use. I wondered if the earbuds on retractable cords would still be attached and retracting after six months of daily use, and they are! It's actually pretty rugged. I still like the sound, and like that it's small and light.

    I had not had good luck with my search for a wireless mic that would work for my admittedly unusual requirements. I'm a musician, songwriter, and sci-fi/fantasy writer, and my preferred writing process involves going for long walks and audio recording as I walk. I started years ago. For a microphone I had used earbuds but always dreamed of a wireless solution. This LG Tone Style headset is incredible for its built-in recharging, recording tone clarity, simplicity, noise canceling, and virtual invisibility. I forget I have it on my neck, it's so light and well designed. The only trouble I had was getting used to pairing it with so many different Bluetooth devices, and the fact that the main control button doesn't quite work with my combination of devices as the instructions say, requiring 4-second presses only rather than 2-second presses for some things and 4-second presses for others. The results are worth the extra experimenting it took to work out my procedures. The particular success the LG Tone Style provides may be unique to my needs, but it suggests a particular advantage of the headset. I had recently started trying out a speech-to-text app called "ADA Dictation", which does not depend on connection to the Internet to work, the transcription all being handled by the app's software on my iPad, what might be considered more of an AI-based approach. I have always used wired Sony earbuds to record while I walked and talked, and tried several different apps over the last few years. And although the ear buds' recorded sound quality for my voice is really great, the dictation results have always sucked, so I had given up on dictation apps altogether. The newest attempt using ADA Dictation was no better. But when I received the LG Tone Style headset and went out for a walk the accuracy of the resulting transcription was incredible! I think the LG's tone profile combined with the noise cancellation is the reason for the successful results I'm getting. It's been amazing! And much appreciated!
