Easy Installation & More Digital Channels Available
The antenna arrived in two days like it should (in a bubble wrapped envelope which worried me at first) but it was in perfect condition! It's surprisingly light - more than any other antenna I've ever owned before and it helps with installation. Installing it was very easy. Package came with stickers and it held it up on the window easily. Connecting it to the TV was easy to do and doesn't require much effort at all. It gave me more digital channels over the air compared to my last one too. Overall, if I ever had to buy an antenna again or recommend it to someone, it'd definitely be this one.

I decided to cut ties with my cable TV provider as I regularly watch Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Funimation. I do, however, like to watch local channels from time to time for local news and publicly broadcasted events, etc. That's where the Rhidon HDTV Long Range Indoor Antenna comes into play. I live near Dayton Ohio and with this antenna, I pull in 13 local channels and it works great. Every channel comes in quite clearly and other than the occasional hiccup if the weather is acting up, this thing is great! I would highly recommend this indoor antenna to anyone trying to get away from paying Cable TV prices and is okay with having a handful of local channels. 5 out of 5 stars for value, video/audio quality and ease of setup!

I bought this with trepidation because the reviews are all over the place -- some people get great results while others report reaching few stations. We live 30 miles from the closest "big city." I don't know where the TV stations' repeater towers are, but I know their main offices are 40 and 50 miles from us. When I got through installing this, we had so many stations that I stopped counting at 29 (and that didn't take into account the Spanish-language ones). And they are crystal clear -- in fact, the reception appears to be better than what was coming through the Dish setup that I just cancelled.

A word about installation: I think the directions that come with this antenna are very clear and easy to follow. However, I have a TV that is about 10 years old -- new enough to receive digital stations over the air, but old enough that I haven't tried to set anything up on it in more than a decade. So the hard part was knowing how to make my TV scan for channels. And if you don't scan for channels, then the antenna isn't going to work. I found my instruction booklet, unplugged the TV, and then got the menu that says "setup." I selected "antenna" and then told it to scan only analog because the TV instructions said that would be faster. Well, that was a mistake because TV stations don't broadcast analog any more. So I got zero channels. I went back and scanned for "all" and once again nothing showed up when scanning analog, but when it got through scanning for digital stations, presto! More than two dozen.

I'm not a gear head. This kind of stuff frustrates me greatly. But I "cut the cord" and saved a ton of money for something I just wasn't using. Now I can stream Netflix and Amazon Prime, plus occasionally watch local channels. Works for me, with the help of this great antenna!

Worst buy from Amazon. I had/have a outdoor antenna from back in 09. Has a 60 mile range and I was having trouble getting a few stations so I figured I would upgrade. This said it had a 130 mile range so I thought wow antenna tech has changed and decided to give this a go. Horrible. I couldn't get a single channel to come in with a viewable picture. So I hooked back up my old antenna and am waiting on a new outdoors antenna to replace what I have. Indoor antenna still suck and I should have listen to my gut and not bought this. Then to make matters worse I'm trying to return the product and I've been getting the ring around. Amazon tried telling me I needed to pay to get a shipping label when I'm a prime member and returns are free. Total fail Amazon. Now I have to get back on the phone tomorrow and again deal with customer service to hopefully get this straightened out. Save yourself the headache and just remember that indoor antennas suck and never buy one.

We have tried multiple antennas and none of them would work and if they would the picture was terrible. We found this one on amazon and ordered it hoping since it was 130 miles that it would pick up more channels and have a better picture. Well the picture is amazing and it doesn’t cut out or lose signal which is awesome! The only thing is we were hoping it would pick up more channels since the range was longer but it only gets us 4 channels. We do live 65 miles from the biggest city so that might be why we only get 4. Awesome product though and easy to install!

I used this HDTV antenna on my bedroom TV that has no cable or internet connection to it. The bedroom is upstairs in the house and I had to add a Coaxial cable with a barrel coupling to extend the reach of the antenna so it could be placed near a window. It was able to pick up TV channel signals, but definitely worked best when near the window pointed toward the direction of towers (line of sight) For the price, it does a good job. The signal cuts out sporadically, depending on the weather, too, but that’s to be expected. If I could change anything it would be the length of the cable from antenna to TV and, most importantly, the length and location of the signal booster. The booster is in-line and needs to be plugged into either the HDTV USB port or and adapter into a power outlet. This limits where you can place the antenna considerably because it shortens the length of the TV antenna cable. As aforementioned, I put a 10 foot long piece of coaxial cable from the TV to the connector on the antenna using a barrel and then ran the antenna to a window. The signal booster has to be plugged into and outlet using a USB adapter. So, be prepared to make adjustments if necessary.
