Before getting to the review about this printer a brief summary of why I decided to purchase it.
So I have a Powerspec 3D Pro that I purchased from Microcenter several years ago for several hundred dollars. I used it off and on for awhile and then packed it up as I did not have time for it. I recently purchased a CNC router and wanted to print out some add-on parts so I dug it out. The second day of use and the heated bed quit and started having issues with print quality. I checked out the heated bed wiring and everything look good at the plate and on the motherboard. Calibrated everything and still had printing issues. I was going to but a new build plate which would have been about $60 and may not have fixed the issue is something was wrong on the MB. So I began looking other printers on Amazon and came across the Diggro Alpha 3.
I have been VERY impressed with this machine which I got for $189.99 after coupon. Assembly was easy enough for me but I had done some research and watched videos while waiting for delivery which I suggest people do. Besides the price the controller was the selling point for me as it is VERY nice and convenient. I was also looking at the Ender 3 Pro but the controller on this one sold me. After assembly I instantly popped in the micro SD card and printed the included fox model. Besides a few little flaws here and there, the print came out great. In fact I would say it printed better than my much more expensive printer ever did even after calibrations. I use Simplify3D which I had already purchased years ago and used the Alfawise U30 Pro profile that already existed in the program. I used this profile as this Alpha 3, the Alfawise U30, and the Longer LK4 are all made on the same assembly line and are the exact same machine.
If you are a beginner and want to try 3D printing out I would highly recommend this printer. I would also recommend this printer to those that are already printing as an additional machine. I do not see any major issues with quality or function and any flaws found would also be found in the more expensive brands of similar style.

Initially No Support(Updates)
Update 2/27/19 and star change: I was able to diagnose the problem myself and after ordering a new hot end and replacing it the errors went away and the temperature swings while printing of almost 10c one either direction of my set temp now only swing 1-2c. Support did finally get back to me, apologizing and covering the cost of the repair. As our follow ups had quick responses I believe that this may have been an anomaly.If you have some knowledge of 3d printers and/or don't mind tinkering this is a nice platform to work with.Suggestions so far, use Creality Ender 3 as your printer in the settings for Cura. Also when searching for support this has a few other names Longer LK4 Pro and Alfawise U30 Pro.Original: I have reached out to both support channels mentioned in the customer questions section. It has been 2 days and no response, not even a message confirming my request was received and that someone was working on it. I receive random errors while trying to print as shown in the images attached. Would be happy to update this as the few prints that have printed to completion have been pretty nice. I really want to like the Diggro Printer but not happy with the abysmal support....

Great starter printer and quality prints for the price.

I have experience with 3D printers and used them in college and at work. Wanted a budget printer for home to work on projects and was not sure how much I would use one at home. Great touch screen and quality components. Suggest using the glass side with Elmer’s stick glue for adhesion. (Works great) Also found a great assembly video on YouTube. No issues with printing with Hatchbox and other quality filaments. Always make sure to keep filaments free of moisture to avoid printing issues. I did have an issue with several bad prints. Emailed customer service and within 24 hours had a response. They sent suggestions and firmware file. Unfortunately that was not the issue. It was the Cura slicing software. I uninstalled and reinstalled without updating to the newest version and it has been working fine since.

This printer makes a terrible first impression. Out of the box the several pins were bent out of shape in connectors. One wire was disconnected completely from its cable harness and I had to resolder and repair the connector myself.
When it comes to assembly, this printer is not for beginners. The instructions are terrible and vague.
Second impressions of the machine dont help either. This machine has terrible temperature control. Swaying to either side of the target temp by +/- 5 degrees at any given time.
My first test print is going down now, and I will provide updates once it finishes. However, at this time, I would not reccomend this printer to anyone other than an adept printer.
The only reason I'm giving it two stars and not less is because the printer does function for the most part (even if it's not well).

Bought this printer as i always wanted to try 3D printing technology, The assembly is not for a beginner, you need to be a little handy or pay close attention to the instructions that comes on the flash drive that comes with the printer. also another important part that was difficult for me was calibration, but i found an easy way to adjust the temperature of the head and the bed, i started to add 10 degrees additional to the recommended temperature on the material.
Once you open the box do not follow the instructions on the booklet, it is useless, you will find a flash drive that has in detail instructions, that is what you need to use to assemble the printer. also i found a youtube video of assembly that helped me a lot.
after assembly you need to start leveling, this is the most important step and do not skip it. insert an A4 paper and adjust the screws to be barely touching (you will understand what i mean).
The printing process itself is so easy, the software is easy to use and i found it easy for me to adjust everything on the computer then transfer the file to the provided SD card and insert the SD card in the printer and Print.
The printer creates heat around it and it is also loud , a mid size model will take a day to print so make sure the printer is not near your bedroom.
Overall the printer for the price is great and for me as a beginner it tool a while to set it up but i was able to print accurately and quickly.
