I got two for my cars. Just plugged them in, stuck in 32gig micro sd cards, and they turn on every time the car is on. Very easy setup and it's just a matter of removing the sd card and copying it on my laptop, if I ever want to review a video. I found the controls and the tiny screen very cumbersome for any kind of viewing, but I wasn't expecting much from a $30 cam. The video quality is great for what it's supposed to do, just don't expect a cinematic experience. I suggest that you take the sd card out after first use, and check the videos just to make sure the cam is working properly. 32gig card seems to save about an hour and a half of video.
Now that I've had this dash cam for about a month, that little red flashing thing on the upper corner of the screen, showing the cam is recording, feels very reassuring. I don't think I can drive around without one any more.
Also, if you ever get into an argument in the running car with your significant other, you better make sure you remember what you said accurately before offering an audio forensics, because this thing could backfire on you. If your memory is anything like mine, make sure the car is off!

Please format the card within the setup menu before use. Please insert the card in the right direction. As some people insert the SD card incorrectly and was wedged between the SD card slot and a gap

Swollen Battery Replacement
For most of the time the dash cam worked great as intended. However, not even a year later the battery was swollen and unusable.Edit: I had contacted the sellers via the email on this listing and they sent a new one for free. I will update this review later if there are no further issues.
