Could not be more pleased with this purchase. Don't know why some reviewers have been unable to get this program to work. Not having burned a DVD or CD in the last decade, I am by no means media adept, just reasonably competent on a PC. This was a low-cost solution to a vexing problem. It arrived within 24 hours and I was using it within minutes to burn DVDs for standalone DVD players, and then make a 2nd copy of each DVD. I found the menus totally intuitive and have yet to reference the manual. My ancient Brookstone standalone VCR to Digital converter produces .ASF formatted video files on an SD card. They can be played on, and copied to, Windows 10 computers with Windows Media Player. They can also be burned to computer only readable DVDs with the Video Editor in the Windows 10 Photos App. On my first attempt, I “added” the .ASF files to the “Create Movie/Slideshow” segment of Burning Studio 21. Unfortunately, the result was a standalone DVD playable DVD of mediocre quality and no sound. I had missed a critical middle step which was to convert the .ASF files to .MP4 files in Video Editor portion of Windows 10 Photos. When I “added” the .MP4 clips, the resulting DVD was of much better video quality and contained full sound. DVDs burn in approximately 15 minutes and you can make copies in approximately ½ of that. The conversion of files from .ASF to .MP4 in Video Editor format is more time consuming, taking 30 to 45 minutes.

This software looks great but doesn't work. It will not finalize a disc. Video or audio. I tried customer service and they seemed to want to help but after a few e mails they were gone with no solution. It's been over a month with no follow up for my service call. I can only assume they know the software is defective and have no solution. To bad as I had high hopes for this program. I guess I wasted 25 dollars. Order at you own risk. Maybe you will be luckier than me.

I bought this to burn DVDs. It has successfully burned some, most of the time, it works on a project for up to an hour, then I get error messages. It worked for about 10 DVDs. Now nothing works.
Update: Customer support is not bad, considering they we are on different continents. It has worked twice since my review (out of about 5 times). Both times, I was doing absolutely nothing else on the computer at that time- so that might be a key. It might not too, because it has also not worked under the same circumstances. It is better than some others I have tried (all 1 stars), but is still frustrating.

I am happy to say Ashampoo works twice as fast as Leawo and I have no problem burning multiple copies. The interface is easier to use and gives you better menu options. Beyond what I expected and cheaper than many other SW. I don't think you can go wrong with Ashampoo.

Have used a variety of other methods but often found them troublesome--telling me that certain files were problematic or refusing to burn created tacks if titles had been changed. This program is really simple. It rips to wherever you want to tell it. It burns at selected speed and does so without any hesitation. Clearly indicates the length of the selected files and keeps them in the order you placed them in. Media player e.g. often refused to do this. It checks the CDR's as you use them and is utterly trouble free. Would commend to anyone who does a lot of work with sound files and needs to burn them to disc.
