Instructions for assembly were ok, but some critical thinking skills are valuable in putting this together. However, despite numerous efforts to get the thing to actually print, glue stick, tape, etc, I never was able to get it to actually stick to anything. It also won't preheat, which I suspect is an issue with the one that I got. Returned it and bought a different model.

For the price this 3d printer is actually pretty cool. Went together well, all the parts were there, fit and finish seems fairly nice. It has been running pretty much non stop for a week now mostly printing custom designed parts for a laser engraver. Print quality is what you would expect. Not excellent, but definitely serviceable. Most of what I make are utilitarian parts for other tools so thats not an issue for me. Setup was a little bit of a bear, until I set my Cura up with this printer as an Ender 3, and now printing a 20mm box with only about 1-3% inaccuracy.

I haven't tried the included filament, I instead have been using hatchbox 1.75 mm PLA. No real complaints with the touch screen other than the occasional freeze, but this hasn't happened during a print. Only when it sits for a bit without attention.

Now my problems. The only one that is a big deal for me is that there is no way to manually extrude a finite amount of filament for calibration purposes. (maybe there is but I haven't found it) so just be aware of this. The second is that this thing desperately needs a USB interface. It would be so nice to tie directly in to your computer. I can't imagine this being much of a production cost increase, and I would happily pay for that upgrade.

I ordered the heated print bed, which was fashionably absent from the amazon marketplace. For about $12 from eBay. I haven't received it yet, but looks promising. While we are on the print bed, dont even bother with the glue stick that comes with the machine. Its garbage. Get yourself a nice purple Elmers stick, and do two coats in a cross hatch and let dry. I have only had two failures with that method (actually the only failures I've had so far)

The removable print bed is a great idea, pretty handy to remove large prints. However I have had a problem with it throwing my bed level off after removing the bed.

All in all I am very happy with my purchase. It has served me well, and despite having a couple of glaring problems I dont think you can go wrong for the price.
