I have a very heavy entertainment center that I did not want to move it to mount a dipole FM antenna behind. This antenna was super easy to install and I didn't have to move anything. I live about 100 miles from Las Vegas and about 250 miles from Phoenix. Not many FM stations here. Most FM here is from repeaters. Without any antenna I had exactly zero FM stations here. I installed this antenna and instantly had FM stations. I have this antenna sitting on top of my A/V receiver. It's only about one foot off the floor and not near any windows. The antenna blends in with the A/V receiver nicely.

I was mildly optimistic from reading the reviews that this might be the antenna for my receiver to bring in more signals and more strongly. This was less effective that the basic wire antenna that came with my receiver. I tried it in other locations on another receiver and clock radio with a similar lack of results. I was able to get another FM antenna that did work for the intended receiver and well so the the location was not the issue. Disappointing.

I have an older Denon AV-3805 Stereo Receiver and didn't want to purchase another one so I needed to buy a FM booster as the location I moved it was in a more central location of my home far away from windows. The Antop Antenna tremendously helped boost the signal. I did have to purchase an additional 6' coaxial cable extension to move the Antenna closer to my skylight window which helped with signal. Overall glad I made the purchase and It gave my old Stereo Receiver a better life.

Looks good but doesn't work well, the power supply actually makes it worse so using it without, the power supply cord is not as long as the antenna cable so no way for a neat installation or utilizing the full length of cable unless you are not using the power supply.
