Very useful but needs a nudge to fit properly
This charger not only charges up to four controllers, but also helps declutter my coffee table. It's been in use for many months without any issues. My only [little] gripe is that the ports for the OEM switch Pro controllers were a bit finicky in the beginning and still need a little nudge to ensure proper seating. However, for the money spent, and the utility I get out of it, it was a great purchase. No more loose, half-charged controllers all over the place.

Easy to install and I like the screen on the front. Lights change from red to green when fully charged and shows you exactly which space is which controller. I even ran into the problem of my larger controllers (because my controllers are an off brand; 2pk red and blue ones from walmart) did not fit in the spots but when I plugged in the USBs to the plug in on the side of this docking station... it still registered them as in those controller spots! It doesn't look as pretty but it works for me.

Absolutely perfect. Easily charges all my pro controllers, though I cant find any charging battery packs to make it work for my Mario etc controllers. Get on that, guys!

Easily hooks up to my special edition dock via the 2 USB ports on the side, which provides power which saves me a whole wire and plug the other controller docks require, and makes those USB ports still available on the front of the controller dock. We actually have our charging dock for our Xbox controllers plugged into the Switch controller dock with a. MicroUSB charger, which saves another plug. And everything charges quick and easy even with all of our xbox controller ports and switch controller ports taken AND the switch itself docked.

The length if it may make it hard to deal with on limited shelf space but I absolutely love it and it works for us.

We have 3 sets of joycons and 2 pro controllers so this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. It connects up the Nintendo Switch dock perfectly. However, once connected it makes the whole setup very long. At least double the length of the Switch dock. Make sure you have enough room. Would be nice if there were a way to reorient it to point forward or be along the front of the Switch dock. Some short USB extension cables might do the trick...

The ports for plugging in the joycons is very tight. You have to push fairly hard to get them in. It made me a little nervous pushing that hard, but it doesn't seem to harm them. To get them out you need to hold charger to keep it from lifting off with the joycon. Not a huge deal, but a minor annoyance.

As for the pro controller charger ports, those aren't tight, but they can be tricky to align properly. My kid has trouble getting it to slide in right so he's ended up scratching up the controller. I imagine they can't have too much of a guide for the controllers so they can fit different models.

There are two other things I don't understand. Not sure why there isn't a spot for two more of the joycon top covers since this can charge 2 sets. The other thing I don't get is the LEDs. They are always on, even when the controllers aren't plugged in and they're bright. Having the LED on while the controller is charging is appropriate. Most chargers I have don't have the LED on when the battery isn't plugged in which would be nicer. I wish there was a way to turn them off completely without having to disconnect the charger from the dock.

Overall though it seems to work and charged all my controllers, while providing a place to store them. For now I just unplug it once the controllers are charged, and I told my kid to just leave the controllers on the table for me to plug in.
